Dr. Hobson is the "Founder" of Hobson Eye Associates. He has been in private practice in Kennesaw, GA since 1976. He opened his first practice on Cherokee Street in downtown Kennesaw. Dr. Hobson received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University, Doctor of Optometry from Ohio State University, and his Therapeutic Drug Certification from the University of Houston. Dr. Hobson is a Past-President of the Georgia Optometric Association, 2009 OPTOMETRIST OF THE YEAR AWARD! Past Secretary of the Georgia Optometric Association and remains very active in both the Georgia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Hobson and his wife reside in Kennesaw while their daughter Amber (a teacher in Woodstock) and her husband Ricky reside in Acworth. Their son, Christopher and his wife, Sarah have started a law firm in Marietta Hobson & Hobson, PC. Dr. Hobson and his wife have 5 grandchildren, Haley, Layla, R.J, McKenzie and Alexia . |
Heather Zutaut, OD

Dr. Zutaut joined the practice in 2005. She is originally from West Virginia and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from West Virginia University. She then went on to Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry with Therapeutic Drug Certification. Dr. Zutaut moved to Atlanta in 1999 to complete an externship and clinical fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery with Atlanta Eye Surgery Group. Dr. Zutaut is a member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, Greater Atlanta Optometric Association and Women of Vision professional organization. Heather and her husband, John reside in Smyrna with their son, Ian. |
Jessica L. Hall, O.D.
Jessica Hall, OD
Dr. Hall joined the practice in August of 2013. She is originally from the metro Atlanta area and was a patient of Dr. Hobson's while growing up. She attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed her internship training at the University Eye Center in New York, NY, Woodhull Medical & Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY, Omni Eye Services in Atlanta and Southeastern Tucson Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Hall and her husband, Ryan, reside in Smyrna. |
